Round 13 of the CCCA Women’s 1st Grade competition will be played on Saturday with the Match of the Round taking place at Kurruba Oval with Wyong Gold play Lisarow Ourimbah White with both teams needing the win to consolidate their position in the top four with four rounds remaining.
All matches commence at 2pm.

CCCA Women's 1st Grade Preview

Round 3 of the Women’s 1st Grade competition will be played on Saturday with matches commencing at 2pm.
The Match of the Round with Wyong Gold taking on competition leaders, Terrigal Matcham at Don Small Oval. This round will also see Wyong Green take to the field for the first time after being a late addition to the competition. They will travel to Terrigal Haven to take on Kincumber Avoca in their debut match.

CCCA Women's Season Preview

An expanded Women’s First Grade competition will be played in season 2021/22 with now up to 9 teams this year.
Lisarow Ourimbah White
Preview – The Magpies White will want to go one better than their runner up finish last season. Amy Cunningham returns and will captain the side and will once again be important with the bat while Jess Holmes is a proven performer in the comp.
Rd 1 Matchup – vs Lisarow Ourimbah Black @ Lisarow Sporting Field
Lisarow Ourimbah Black
Preview – The Magpies Black has changed a bit from the one that played last year. Piper Hooke and Elissa Andrews are two players who have come across from the Magpies White side and will add a bit more talent to a side that only narrowly missed finals last season.

Northern Power Orange
Preview – The Power will have two sides in the top competition this season and it will be interesting to see how they will split up the team. Crystal Osborne and Sam Thomas have been proven performers in the competition and will be two keys to the Power Orange success.
Rd 1 Matchup – vs Kincumber Avoca @ Terrigal Haven
Northern Power Blue
Preview – The Power Blue will want to upstage their other Power side and will hope they have got the better players of the split. Emma Raychaudhuri has been consistent over the last few years while Kylie Taylor has performed in big matches in the past.
Rd 1 Matchup – vs Terrigal Matcham @ Tunkawallin
Kincumber Avoca
Preview – The Griffins had a young side last year and know doubt learnt plenty of lessons along the way. Sophie McCrae was arguably their best player last year and if she can play like she did, wins will be in reach. Layla Graham is a young talent coming through and could be one to lookout for this season.
Rd 1 Matchup – vs Northern Power Orange @ Terrigal Haven
Terrigal Matcham
Preview – The Bellbirds will look to go a few places better than their 3rd place finish last season. Ella Merritt is someone they can rely on week in week out to score plenty of runs while Emily Humphreys and Tara French showed experience beyond their years last season and will want to build on that.

Narara Wyoming
Preview – The Lions are one side that have made the jump into the first grade competition. Ashley and Clare Owen have been outstanding players in the youth girls competition and will be good to see the talented duo in the top competition.
Rd 1 Matchup – vs Wyong @ Carrington St
Wyong Last Season – Premiers
Preview – The reigning premiers will once again be one of the teams to beat and will back themselves to go back to back. Jacinta Crawford has been an incredible player the last few years and will be key while Eliza Thompson will be another player who can win a game single handily.
Rd 1 Matchup – vs Narara Wyoming @ Carrington St
The Entrance
Preview – The Seagulls come up in the First Grade competition after a runners up performance in 2nd grade last year. Sharon Crosdale was excellent last year with the bat and she will be important to her side success again. Olivia Field and Hailey Paul were good with the ball last year and will enjoy the step up in grades.
