Well folks it is almost upon the well renowned Northern Power McGrath Foundation Pink Stumps Fundraiser, which will be held this Sunday at Harry Moore Oval.

From humble beginnings this event has reached unbelievable levels with last year’s event raising $21,355 for the McGrath Foundation, and such is the magnitude of this event, the head of the McGrath Foundation, Tracey Beaven attended last years event to show her support.

But that was 12 months ago and 2020/21 CCCA Volunteer of the Year, Kelly Jolley and her hard working committee have been burning the midnight oil to ensure that this years event is the best yet.

The weekend will start with a Fundraising Dinner on Friday Night at the clubs major sponsor “The Ary Toukley” who have also got into the spirit of the events by donating $1 from the sale of their Pink Stumps Cocktail. The fundraising dinner will include a 2 course meal with a guest speaker as well as an auction and plenty of raffle prizes.

The Dinner is just a prelude to the main event which will be on Sunday at Harry Moore Oval where all the action will commence at 10am.

Their will be plenty of off field activities as well as more raffles and auctions and the BBQ, Canteen and Bar will be in operation.

On-field their will be T10 matches before the main event the Ladies T20 match kicks off at 2pm, and don’t be fooled this will be no charity match with captains Sam Eggleton and Renee Beattie keen to lead their teams to victory. Their will be a celebrity player auction at 1pm and this is not to be missed.

Another highlight will be club stalwart Brett Lenton who will be paddling/running from Speers Point to Harry Moore to raise funds.

It is not too late to make a donation or better still get along to Harry Moore Oval on Sunday for what will be a fantastic day.
