Preview

The two rounds of the T20 competition will be played this weekend with all matches having implications on not only the T20 competition but also the overall competition with 12 competition points up for grabs.

This scenario means that the competition of the table could look much different on Saturday night compared to what it does now.

How does the scenario for each team look in the T20 competition.

Warnervale – Currently sitting on top of the table and play Narara-Wyoming (6th) and Wyong (3rd) both at home.  Unlikley to miss out on a finals berth however one win would guarantee it.

The Entrance – 2nd – Play Brisbane Water (7th) and Lisarow-Ourimbah (5th) at home. The defending premiers would only need one win to guarantee a finals spot.

Wyong – 3rd – Play Kincumber-Avoca (4th) at home and Warnervale (1st) away. Have only lost one match in this competition but have two tough matches this weekend. Would most likely need one win to qualify.

Kincumber – 4th – Play Wyong (3rd) away and Southern Spirit (10th) away. Both matches are away from home. May need two wins to qualify

Lisarow – 5th – Play Northern Power (8th) at home and The Entrance (2nd) away. Will most likely need two wins to qualify which would include beating The Entrance away from home.

Narara-Wyoming – 6th – Play Warnervale (1st) and Northern Power (8th) both away. Will most likely need two wins to qualify which would include beating ladder leaders Warnervale away from home.

Brisbane Water – 7th – The Entrance (2nd) away and Terrigal-Matcham (9th) away. Will need two big wins and other results to go their way to have any chance of qualifying.

Northern Power, Terrigal-Matcham and Southern Spirit are out of the running for the T20 finals, however both Northern Power and Terrigal-Matcham will need maximum points to improve their chances of qualifying for the overall competition finals.

In the overall competition the likes of Lisarow-Ourimbah, Northern Power, Kincumber-Avoca and Terrigal-Matcham all have the opportunity to make a serious charge towards the top four alternatively a poor day could see their final chances evaporate with just three rounds remaining.

T20 Table (top four qualify for semi-finals on 3 Feb):  Warnervale 24 (2.3937); The Entrance 18 (1.5471); Wyong 18 (1.3013); Kincumber-Avoca 16 (1.2701); Lisarow-Ourimbah 14 (1.2073); Narara-Wyoming 12 (0.9644); Brisbane Water 8 (0.6330); Northern Power 6 (0.7326); Terrigal-Matcham 0 (0.6208); Southern Spirit 0 (0.4298)

Overall Competition Table: Wyong 56, Warnervale 56, The Entrance 52, Narara-Wyoming 43, Brisbane Water 42, Lisarow-Ourimbah 36, Northern Power 34, Kincumber-Avoca 32, Terrigal-Matcham 25, Southern Spirit 10
