Central Coast will resume the 2018/19 season this Saturday with another T20 doubleheader.

Wyong and Warnervale were the big movers with the first T20 round of matches between Christmas and with another 12 points up for grabs all Saturday’s matches will be very important.

Warnervale skipper, Simon Keen was the standout player last round and his ability to dominate with both bat and ball will be a key as Warnervale take on Terrigal Matcham and Lisarow-Ourimbah, with the Magpies missing their NSW Country duo in Scott Burkinshaw and Blair Lindsay.

The Entrance will also be missing Adam Taylor, who was another standout player last round, when they take on Northern Power and Brisbane Water. Northern Power were disappointing last round being defeated easily in both games and they will need to rebound strongly or risk falling of the competition pace. Their task on Saturday has not been made easy with the absence of their captain, Chris Archer.

Brisbane Water will be looking to continue their improved form and with skipper Ben Cohen at the helm appear well suited to this format of the game. Their clash with Wyong in the first game on Saturday should be a beauty as Wyong are currently the competition pacesetters and have one of the most influential players in the game in Hayden Murphy who performs consistently with both bat and ball.

The Alan Davidson Cup will be up for grabs when holders Kincumber-Avoca take on Narara-Wyoming at Gavenlock Oval. It is an important game for the Griffens as they currently languish in 9th position whilst Narara-Wyoming will be looking for a win to move themselves back into the top four.
