Central Coast suffered a big loss in their opening match of the McDonalds Country Cricket NSW Colts Carnival being held this week in Bathurst.

Taking on Central Northern a poor batting performance saw the Central Coast lose by six wickets.

After winning the toss and batting the Central Coast had no answers to the Central North attack being dismissed for just 60. Seth Slominski was the only batter to reach double figures finishing 10no.

Defending a meagre total, the Central Coast bowlers made in roads into the Central Northern lineup taking four wickets with Daniel Thompson the standout taking 3/11 from 5 overs.

The Central Coast back up again tomorrow with T20 matches against Riverina @ 10am and Newcastle @ 2pm.
